How often should you poop (And other embarrassing questions)

Is it normal to poop a couple times a day? Just a couple times a week? Is it normal if your poop is nearly always shaped like a nut-filled candy bar? (Have you looked?!) Everybody poops and your poop is a window to your health. It’s not only good to look before you flush, doctors encourage it!

To assess your bathroom habits, many healthcare professionals suggest the 3-3-3 rule: You should go no more than three times a day, and no less than once every three days. Ideally, you should poop something like type 3 or 4 on our perfect printable poop guide

We’ll add another ‘3’ to the mix: You should usually spend no more than 3 minutes on the toilet. If you have time to check your entire Facebook newsfeed, you may want to make some changes. Likewise, you may want to take action if you have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and have trouble maintaining regularity.

Unlike many other fiber supplements on the market, Sunfiber is a truly regulating fiber. This prebiotic soluble fiber helps to move food through the digestive system at just the right pace. This makes it an ideal choice if you’re dealing with occasional constipation or diarrhea. Plus, it does it without excess gas or bloating, common side effects of other fiber supplements.

Here’s another sign that you may want to add Sunfiber to your daily routine: If your poop sinks too quickly, you may not be eating enough fiber. Most people don’t get anywhere near the recommended 38 grams of daily fiber. Each serving of Sunfiber brings you closer to that goal.

So, if your poop sometimes resembles chicken nuggets instead of a normal, healthy shape such as corn on the cob or a smooth snake, try adding Sunfiber to your diet and watch what this easy adjustment to your fiber intake can do for you.
